Resource-conserving production ISOVER mineral wool consists - depending on the product - of up to 99 percent mineral raw materials. These are available in nature in almost unlimited quantities. From only 1 m³ of raw material, 150 m³ of insulating material is produced. ISOVER glass wool is also made from up to 70 percent recycled glass - which not only reduces glass waste but also saves considerable amounts of raw materials and energy.
Optimized building material transport
ISOVER glass wool and the high performance mineral wool ULTIMATE are highly elastic and are packed in a handy compressed package. This saves storage and transport volumes and reduces truck traffic by up to 60 %. Regional combined warehouses for building products from Saint-Gobain and ISOVER's professional insulation trade partners also enable fast and system-oriented delivery of the materials.
Healthier buildings ISOVER mineral wool for indoor applications has been proven to be biologically harmless. In other words, it emits no, or only minimal and harmless, emissions into the interior. Product awards such as "Blue Angel" and "Eurofins Indoor Aircomfort Gold" are proof of the contribution to sustainable building design. The Sentinel Haus Institute for Healthier Buildings also recommends ISOVER products.
Protection and living comfort ISOVER mineral wool offers more than thermal insulation. Their fibrous structure provides excellent sound insulation and improved room acoustics. All ISOVER mineral wool insulation materials are also naturally non-combustible, free from chemical fire retardants. For increased requirements and special fire protection constructions ISOVER rock wool and ULTIMATE offer a melting point > 1000 °C. The comfort and safety of a building can be further optimised in a system with components from the Saint-Gobain brands Weber, Saint-Gobain Glass, Rigips, Ecophon or PAM/HES drainage systems. The result: MultiComfort.
Telephone advice and object-related physical calculations by ISOVER technical consultants and a comprehensive training programme offered by the ISOVER Academy, which has received numerous awards from customers, support specialist dealers, fabricators and planners in their work. ISOVER thus offers real added value for its customers.
